If you’re looking for really good brunch in Mississauga, you will definitely find it at Kravingz.
The first time I visited this restaurant I tried the Polski Benedict- a delicious potato cake (or potato placki) topped with smoked salmon, poached egg and a smooth and creamy Hollandaise sauce. After that meal, I knew I had to come back here and that this would quickly become one of my favourite spots!
The menu ranges from simple brunch meals like your usual eggs, bacon, waffles and pancakes but I suggest going for more of the specialty items. Trust me, it is worth it!
Kravingz brings everyone to the table by cooking up flavour-packed ethnic variations of traditional brunch items, such as beef bulgogi sandwiches, jerk corned beef with poached egg and grits or their take on a classic Mexican breakfast.
WHAT WE ORDERED:
Pandesal + Coffee
Crispy, sweet and buttery Filipino bread rolls paired with a hot cup of coffee proved to be the perfect start to our brunch date and a great way to curb our hunger while we waited for our main meals.
Fish Tacos
Fresh and light tacos with crispy white fish, flavourful house made salsa and topped with a dollop of chipotle mayo and garnished with cilantro and sprouts to add a touch of brightness. These tacos were a great way for us to get into a Summer-time feeling on a sunny day.
Chicken N’ Waffles
For my first Chicken N’ Waffles experience, this was absolutely mouthwatering! The light and fluffy waffles with bits of jalapeño, the super crispy and spicy fried chicken, perfectly crunchy and fresh coleslaw combined with the sweet drizzle of maple syrup. Everything about this dish was amazing!
